Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie

September 17, 2015 by Christine Skari

Hi friends!

Today I’m throwing a super quick recipe at ya to help you get in the fall mood. I know I’ve been talking your ear off about how I’m trying to get into the fall spirit while it’s 80+ degrees outside, but I think I finally found the perfect solution to transition from summer ➡️ fall for me!

Meet my new ❤️, Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie.

Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie- this tastes like fall in a glass and is healthy!

I didn’t have a recipe planned for today, which is why this smoothie is coming at you later in the day than my usual posts. Today is absolutely jam-packed for me and I’ve been running around trying to get tasks crossed off my to-do list before a hair and makeup artist comes to my house. A wedding coordinator asked Kyle and I to pose for a styled Halloween-themed shoot (how fun, right!?) and she’s supposed to be here at 3. It’s currently 2:20 and I’m scrambling to put this post together before cleaning up.

I made this drink as an afternoon pick-me-up and, after one sip, knew I had to share it with you guys asap! It’s refreshing and filled with fall flavors, but without all the heat that most fall drinks have. Perfect for anyone who needs a pumpkin-filled post-workout drink while they cool down!

Zero refined sugar, high-protein, gluten-free, vegan, and just plain yummy. That’s how I like my snacks, thank you very much!

This smoothie like fall in a glass! I love the addition of frozen banana in all of my smoothies. It make them so creamy and thick. Hope you had a blast with your photo shoot, you model, you! :)

I’ve been obsessing over all things pumpkin lately, but haven’t yet put it in my morning smoothie. Going to have to change that tomorrow!
