Pumpkin Spice Apple Butter
Taste all the flavors of fall with this delicious pumpkin spice apple butter!
  • 5 big apples, peeled and chopped (I used gala)
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  1. In a large pot, combine the apples, apple cider, and sugars. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes until apples have softened.
  2. Stir in the cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Let the mixture cool slightly, then use a blender to puree the apple butter until mostly smooth. Leave some small bits of apple for added texture.
  4. Add the mixture back into the pot and continue to cook on medium-low heat for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Enjoy!
*Can be stored in the fridge for up to 10 days, or frozen for a rainy day!
