I’ve always felt like the best way to have a good day is to start your mornings off right. Slowing down, sipping something delicious, and taking time to wake up is just what I need to charge up for the day ahead. It helps me calm my mind, which is usually filled with a turmoil of thoughts relating to the blog, my photography business, social life, etc. I have a tendency to get stressed out pretty easily, so I need a sweet and easy routine to start everything out on the right foot!
With the weather getting warmer, I’ve taken to enjoying my morning brew outside by the pool where I can let a little bit of sunshine wash over me and unplug (even if just for a little!) from technology. California has been a little bipolar on the weather side of things, ranging from 80 degrees and sunny to 60 and cloudy, so when we do get those perfect warm mornings, my lounge chair is basically calling my name!
I’ve been a coffee lover for as long as I can remember (seriously, I was the 5 year old who’s favorite ice-cream flavor was coffee), so when I got the chance to try out Silk’s Almond Dairy creamers, I was pumped!
I chose their caramel flavor first since I wanted to recreate one of my favorites, a blended iced caramel coffee. All I had to do was throw in a bit of ice, cooled black coffee, Silk Almond Milk, Silk Caramel Almond Dairy Free Creamer, and blend! I decided to splurge a little and deck out the inside/bottom of my glass with some caramel sauce and it completely hit the spot. The best way to get caffeinated and ready to go!
