Hey hey hey friends! How is everyone’s week going? Mine has been flying by and I’m excited for the weekend since I’ll be skiing in Big Bear with Kyle and some friends from college! Today’s post not only includes some random thoughts, but also a great giveaway that I’m excited to share with you guys! Thanks to Amanda for hosting every week’s Thinking Out Loud!
Kyle’s style is definitely more earth-toned based and natural, so when Jord reached out to me about their wood watches, I knew one of their men’s watches would be perfect! Kyle’s old watch is one that he bought when we were in Switzerland on our school’s Europe trip after graduating high school. Since that was almost 5 years ago and he wears it regularly, it’s gotten to be pretty beat up and I’ve been on the watch (haha) for one that I thought he might like. I saw the Olive & Acacia watch from the Dover Series and knew he would love it!
The watch is just as gorgeous in person and goes with pretty much everything in Kyle’s closet! I love how it can be worn casually or dressed up and that it’s such a unique piece! The wood and metal interplay is awesome and I already know Kyle is going to get a million compliments on it . I’m already eyeing so many of their women’s watches because I love the organic and natural feel and am jealous of Kyle’s haha!
And now for the fun part! I am SO excited to share this giveaway with you guys! Jord Watches is sponsoring a fun and easy-to-enter giveaway where the winner will get a $100 gift card to their site! Along with that, all other entries that don’t win will get a $25 e-gift card ad the close of the contest. Nobody loses out! This giveaway is only for Apple of My Eye readers, so you have a good chance of winning!

Feels like SPRING!
Lately, the weather has been gorgeous and I’ve started to pull more spring-y clothes from my closet! I wore this outfit to a Farmer’s Market date with Kyle and loved how the bright and colorful top paired with some white pants!
What are some of your favorite online stores? I’m thinking about doing a big closet cleanse and getting rid of things I never wear and replacing them with pieces I’ll put on more than once every 3 years. I haven’t really changed in size since I graduated middle school haha, so my closet is filled with outfits that are errrrr not exactly in style anymore .
In other news, the Farmer’s Market trip was also a success! We tried out a different one than we normally do, and this new one was huge! It also was super crowded and took us 15 minutes to find parking, but it more than made up for it with the food.
I go through periods where I crave frozen yogurt everyday and then randomly won’t want it for months, but I’m happy to say the obsession is back! My yogurt bowl of choice is always the original tart with strawberries, mochi, and cheesecake bites. SO GOOD.
Other than that, nothing new comes to mind! Tune in tomorrow for a healthy but DELICIOUS snack recipe!
